Terms and Conditions of Sale
The terms you agree to when you place an order with us. Read them before you buy.

We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on your order and no VAT number is shown on your receipt.
The goods
We sell herbal food supplements in capsule form. Each jar holds 60 capsules. The three formulas and a booster are ALKA-LIFE, ALKA-FLUSH, ALKA-IRON and ALKA-MAGIC, at £50 a jar. The Cleanse Package is ALKA-FLUSH, ALKA-LIFE and ALKA-IRON sold together.
Every batch is pH tested with a meter before it is packed and has to read above 8 to go out. Ingredients are listed in full on each jar and on the product page. Colour, smell and capsule fill can vary slightly between batches because the herbs are wild-harvested rather than farmed.
These are food supplements, not medicines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Price and delivery costs
Prices on the site are in pounds sterling and include all taxes. Delivery is charged separately and shown in full at checkout before you pay: in the United Kingdom £6 by Royal Mail Tracked, and free on orders over £120; Europe £30; the rest of the world £41.99.
Where a product shows a reduced price, the higher figure shown alongside it is the price the items cost when bought separately, or our own previous selling price. The Cleanse Package is £130 on a recurring monthly subscription, which is £20 less than the three jars bought individually at £50 each. Bought as a one-off it is £150. If you cancel the subscription, any future order reverts to the one-off price.
We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order.
How the contract is formed
Adding items to your basket does not create a contract. When you complete checkout we send an acknowledgement email confirming we have your order. The contract between us starts when we email to confirm the order has been dispatched. If we cannot fulfil your order we will tell you and refund you in full.
Delivery
We dispatch within two working days of your order being confirmed. Delivery times from dispatch are:
These are estimates, not guarantees. Customs clearance on orders outside the UK is outside our control and can add time. Any import duty or tax on an international order is payable by you.
Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us.
Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from the day you receive your goods to change your mind and cancel, without giving a reason.
Tell us by email at support@thehumanremedy.com within that period. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back. You pay the cost of return postage. We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you proving you have sent them.
There is an exception in the same Regulations for sealed goods that are not suitable for return once unsealed, on health protection or hygiene grounds. Our capsules fall inside it, so the right to cancel applies to jars that are still sealed. An opened jar cannot be returned. This does not affect your rights if goods are faulty, damaged or not as described. Full detail is on the Returns and Refunds page.
Digital guides
The Alkaline Food Guide and the Alkaline Knowledge Guide are digital content, delivered as downloads. When you buy one you ask us to make it available straight away, and you confirm at checkout that once you start the download you lose the 14-day right to cancel. Until you start the download you can still cancel within 14 days by emailing support@thehumanremedy.com, and we refund you in full.
If a guide is faulty, does not download or is not as described, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected: tell us and we will repair, replace or refund.
Model cancellation form
You do not have to use this form, but you can. Copy it into an email to support@thehumanremedy.com, or post it to the address above. It covers the membership as well as goods.

Full restrictions for every product are set out on the Product Safety page. It is your responsibility to read them before you take anything, and to speak to your doctor if you take prescription medication or have a medical condition.
Limitation of liability
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
We do not exclude or limit our liability in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or under section 2(3) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
